About me

Hi there!

My name is Briana, or as most of my artist friends call me "Pain," due to my fursona. It's a pleasure to meet you!

I am a US-based artist. I delved into yarn tail making a few years ago (2013) on a whim, it started off being something I did just for the fun of it. I made tails for my own personal cosplay use as I love attending anime conventions, but one day I posted my tails online and people began inquiring about my work and wanted to know if I did commissions for them, needless to say ever since then I have devoted myself to working hard for clients and making all sorts of colored yarn tails and other craft items. I truly enjoy working with these handmade tails and hope to serve an even larger cliental in the near future as I am always striving to make new products and expand my horizons.

People would consider me very versatile on the level where I don't just stick to one thing specifically. I enjoy branching out and trying new things. Apart from yarn tail making, I very much enjoy riding my horse, watching anime, cosplaying and attending conventions, furries and fursuits, and writing novels. I also enjoy photography and digital artwork, which can be seen over at my deviantart account here at this link:  www.Black-Heart-Always.deviantart.com

My dream in life is to one day visit Japan. I am highly fascinated by the culture and the beautiful scenery, as well as the kind-hearted people. I have been teaching myself Japanese and would love to learn as much about the culture and language as I possibly can!

My dog Takeo

This is the reason why I do what I do. This little guy is Takeo, he is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi x Collie dog who I have had since he was a mere puppy. He is my heart and I treasure him dearly. He has seen me through an awful lot in his short few years of life. I have never before met such an incredible little dog with such a driven desire to please and protect. He is a true miracle to me.

He is the inspiration for much of the artwork I do and is always near when I am crafting and working as my little support team.

My dog Takeo has allergies and needs to be treated with immunotherapy every 3-months and is on steroid shots to help him live a normal life. He eats a special limited ingredient diet that is also grain-free, along with special shampoo. All of which totals into the $100's+, so I strive to work hard to ensure the best of care is given to my best friend.

So when you are purchasing a tail, keychain or even something small like an art commission, YOU are helping care for Takeo and his daily needs. And for that, I truly thank you! All proceeds of each sale goes towards his food and vet care.

I encourage you to read about canine allergies and consider donating to local animal shelters or rescue groups to help other dogs in need.

Pain the Wolf

A long running dream of mine was to not only own, but also build my very own fursuit partial of my fursona, Pain the wolf. During my years of cosplay, anime conventions and artwork I was able to have this dream come true of making my very own fursuit partial with the help of someone who was once very dear to my heart.

Through loss I find courage to continue on with my life and I will continue to grow as a person on my own and build up to new and exciting goals. I am strong because I have to be.
